Volunteer Hours
Magnolia Little League is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to the service of the youth of Seattle's Magnolia neighborhood. Managers, coaches, umpires, scorekeepers and Board members are all needed to help enable our baseball games provide lasting memories for the players. Many companies in our area have programs that match your volunteer time and make payments to organizations such as Magnolia Little League. Please check with your company’s Human Resources team to see if they have a Volunteer Hours Matching program.
For those of you who work for Microsoft, Magnolia Little League can receive $25 per employee volunteer hour as part of the Microsoft Giving Program. Eligible volunteer examples that qualify for Microsoft Volunteer matching funds include: coaching, umpiring, scorekeeping, field preparation and Magnolia Little League Board service. Microsoft makes payments on a monthly basis and submitting the volunteer information takes minutes to complete. Microsoft employees, visit the Microsoft Employee Giving Program at http://aka.ms/give. Monetary donations to Magnolia Little League are also eligible for matching.
The money received from Volunteer Matching Programs, such as Microsoft’s, goes to building a stronger Magnolia Little League program. Thank you for your continued support of Magnolia Little League!
